Colchester Reef Lighthouse
Like many lights in the lake, this one fell in the area where Canada owned the lake, but the United States owned most of the vessel
traffic. At first, a lightship was placed in this position. After the lightship was swallowed by the lake, the Canadian Government elected
to build a light in its place. Today the light-tower has been cut down to a helipad with it plastic lens attached.
Location: 5 miles southeast of Colchester, Ontario.
